Greetings! I am grateful that you have found your way to my bio. Whether it is your first time exploring therapy or you are looking for a new fit, it can be a daunting experience. It is vital that the therapist and client(s) feel a genuine connection. The models that I often use are attachment based, interpersonal neurobiology and family systems theory while also holding that it is vital to create a safer space in therapy that is anti-oppressive, affirming and trauma-informed to create an authentic connection. I believe the therapy process requires commitment from the client(s). In tandem with your commitment, I feel passionately about my ability to foster a space where we find the resources and strengths to meet each of the goals a client might seek during the therapeutic process.
I am dedicated to social justice and advocacy both in and out of the space of therapy. I hold various intersections of identity, which I will discuss below. I pride myself on being a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, sex-positive, and polyamorous-positive therapist. I also enjoy working with loved ones and caregivers of those who occupy those spaces as well.
